A Brunch to Discover Sardinia’s Millennia-Old Heritage
New York, NY – Full house today at the Italian Trade Agency in occasion of the seminar dedicated the Mont’e Prama at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. A successful collaboration with the Region of Sardinia and Consulate General of Italy in New York, proudly hosted a seminar highlighting the Region of Sardinia.
The program started with the greetings of Fabrizio Di Michele, Consul General of Italy in New York; and Dr. Anthony Muroni, President of the Mont’e Prama Foundation. Featured speakers included Sean Hemingway, Curator in Charge of Greek and Roman Art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art; Barbara Faedda, Director of the Italian Academy of Columbia University; Massimo Carboni, Service Director of the Sardinia Region; and Marsilio Balzano, Commercial Director of Dinamo Basket of Sassari. Antonino Laspina, Trade Commissioner, Executive Director for the USA joined the conversation with a salute to the audience.
The seminar was followed by a tasting of wines and typical products of Sardinian gastronomy.
