Sant’Agata Bolognese/Houston (USA), 30th May 2017 – Lamborghini Automobiles is available in assisting the Houston Methodist Research Institute by lending their expertise in the study of the composite materials used in carbon fiber.
Doctor Mauro Ferrari, president and CEO of the Houston Methodist Research Institute, was received at Sant’Agata Bolognese by Stefano Domenicali, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lamborghini Automobiles.
The present research project focuses on the study of biocompatibility of composite materials used in prosthetic implants, but also in subcutaneous devices. The purpose is to identify new materials which can be lighter, more resilient by the human body and which over time are more resistant compared to those actual used in the medical field.
